Life of Pi Social Media Contest

Am 26.12.2012 wird der Film: „Life of Pi“ in den Kinos der Deutschschweiz anlaufen. Der Film erzählt die Geschichte von Pi Patel. Pi Patel, gespielt von Suraj Sharma, ist der Sohn eines indischen Zoodirektors. Eine Katastrophe führt dazu, dass er mitten auf dem Ozean, abgeschnitten von der Aussenwelt, in einem Rettungsboot dahintreibt. Dieses teilt er sich mit dem einzigen anderen Überlebenden: einem furchteinflössenden bengalischen Tiger namens Richard Parker. Zu diesem baut er eine wundersame und unerwartete Verbindung auf. Pi nutzt seinen ganzen Einfallsreichtum, um den Tiger zu trainieren, seinen Mut, um den Elementen zu trotzen, und schlussendlich seinen Glauben, um die Kraft aufzubringen, sie beide zu retten. Die schicksalhafte Reise des Teenagers wird dabei zunehmend ein episches Abenteuer voller gefährlicher Entdeckungen und Erlebnisse.

Zur Feier von Ang Lees kommendem Film „Life of Pi“ lädt Diners Club International ambitionierte Fotografen ein, von der Reise ihres Lebens eine Fotografie einzusenden. Die von Diners Club International, Kameramann Claudio Miranda und dem renommierten Fotografen Andy Anderson ausgewählte Fotografie wird in einer weltweiten Werbekampagne von Diners Club International verwendet werden. Zusätzlich erhält der Gewinner Promotion auf der Webseite und den Social-Media-Seiten von Diners Club International und den Betrag von 5'000 US-Dollar. Der von den Diners Club International Juroren ausgewählte Zweitplatzierte gewinnt Promotion auf der Webseite und den Social-Media-Seiten von Diners Club International sowie den Betrag von 500 US-Dollar. Die Aktion hat am 15. Oktober gestartet. Der Einsendeschluss ist am 14. November 2012. Das Voting findet vom 15. November 2012, 10am PST, bis zum 26. November 2012, 10am PST, statt.

For the eighth year, the Diners Club Golf Trophy consists of two qualifying tournaments that are conducted on an individual evaluation, and on Net-Stableford. The qualifiers will be held in June and July in the squares Wylihof GC and GC Gutenberg Castle.

Here it will be decided which two players will officially represent Switzerland in the Diners Club International ® Pro-Am Classic in 2012 in Mauritius in December 2012. Participation is reserved for selected Diners Club card holders who have received a personal invitation in April.
